The Process

  • Build your piece using handbuilding techniques while learning the fundamentals of clay.

  • Your work rests while we prepare it for the next stage.

  • Return to glaze and decorate your piece using professional ceramic glazes and techniques.

  • We complete the final firing in our kiln.

  • Take home a finished ceramic piece made entirely by you.

I attended her “Cafecito, Waffles and Clay” workshop where she made us a delicious breakfast then we hand built items of our choice. I asked if I could sign my 10 year old daughter up for the workshop and she so graciously opened her space to her as well. We had 2 amazing Sunday sessions working on our pieces. We both made coffee/tea mugs that turned out so cute and functional. Highly recommend!"
