Art House Membership Agreement

Welcome to Art House. We're honored you've chosen to become part of our creative community.

Our membership is designed to provide a welcoming space where artists and makers can create independently, respect one another, and care for the shared studio. By becoming a member, you agree to the following:

Membership

Your membership includes unlimited studio access during posted opening hours, personal shelf storage, 10 lbs (4.5 kg) of clay each month, access to shared studio tools and equipment, and bisque and glaze firing for up to eight finished pieces under 9 inches per month. Additional clay, oversized work, and extra firings are available for an additional fee.

Beginning Your Membership

Art House is designed for independent studio practice.

Members who are new to ceramics are required to complete the Studio Pathway before working independently in the studio. Experienced ceramicists may complete a studio orientation and skills assessment instead.

Independent Studio Practice

Membership provides access to the studio for independent creative practice. Personalized instruction is not included with membership and may be booked separately through private lessons.

Caring for the Studio

Members are expected to clean their workspace, wash and return shared tools, dispose of clay responsibly, and leave the studio in the same condition they found it. This shared responsibility helps create a welcoming environment for everyone.

Personal Storage

Members are provided with designated shelf space for works in progress and personal tools. Please keep your area organized. Art House reserves the right to remove abandoned work or materials after reasonable notice.

Firing Policies

All work must follow studio clay and firing guidelines. Pieces that exceed published size limits or require specialty firings may incur additional fees. Art House cannot guarantee the outcome of any firing and is not responsible for damage resulting from the ceramic process.

Safety

Members are expected to use studio equipment responsibly and follow all posted safety guidelines. Art House reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership if unsafe behavior or repeated disregard for the studio or community occurs.

Payments & Membership

Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis unless otherwise stated.

Memberships are non-transferable.

Members may cancel their membership with 30 days' written notice. Membership fees already paid are non-refundable.

A Shared Creative Community

Art House is built on kindness, curiosity, generosity, and mutual respect.

We ask every member to contribute to an environment where artists of every experience level feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to create.
